Nov. Events at the Russell Public Library

Russell Public LibraryNovember is a busy month at the Russell Public Library.

Fall Storytime is up and running once again. For children from birth to preschool, the Library offers two Storytime sessions weekly. Each session is held on Wednesday morning at 10 and again at 11. A story, a song, a craft and a lesson.

  • November 15 - Thanksgiving
  • November 22 - NO STORYTIME
  • November 29 - Fall Animals

Let's Try It on November 16 from 3:30 to 5 PM will feature coffee cozy making. For all ages.

Coloring for Adults is November 17 from 12 to 3 PM. Relax, color and converse. Art materials and refreshments will be provided. Come and go for adults ages 18 and up.

The Fourth Annual Letters to Santa Party is November 25 from 7:30 to 9 PM. Immediately following the Lighted Christmas Parade, go to the Library for live Christmas music, cookies, hot chocolate, storytime with Mrs. Claus, kids can write letters to Santa and receive a reply, and every child will go home with a free book. Fun for the whole family. For all ages.

Young Adult Escape Room: Prison Break will be held November 29 from 4 to 6 PM. Ten years in prison for a crime you didn't commit. Ten years of your life wasted for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, it hardly seemed fair. You know the guards will reach your cell during the rounds in an hour. Every bone in your body tells you this is the opportunity of a lifetime; you're 60 minutes from freedom.
