Important Dates for Upcoming Bond Election

USD 407 Bond PosterUSD 407 and Russell County Clerk Mary Nuss have released information regarding important dates for the upcoming mail ballot bond election.

The election date is Tuesday, April 23, 2019. Ballots must be returned to the Clerk's Office by Noon on April 23.

If you are currently registered to vote, you will automatically receive a ballot by mail.

Regular voter registration closes April 2 at 5 PM. Advance ballot requests close April 2 at 5 PM.

Individuals may register to vote at the Clerk's Office on Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM; by printing a voter application from the Secretary of State's website at sos.kansas.gov and returning the application to the County Clerk's Office in person at 401 North Main Street in Russell, US mail at PO Box 113, Russell, KS 67665, fax to 785-483-7225 or email to [email protected]; or registering online at kdor.ks.gov/apps/voterreg.

Ballots will be hitting mail boxes on April 4 and 5 according to Nuss.

Once you've voted, be sure to sign and write your residential address on the envelope.
