New Manufacturing Business Coming to Russell

Founded in 2013, the Mechanized Concepts team has grown into a wide range of opportunity in working with entrepreneurs and manufacturing companies. Mechanized Concepts is a company that provides the experience to their customers of desired quality, value, aesthetics, user experience and function.

Mechanized Concepts focus in Russell will be in agricultural equipment for industrial hemp.

Industrial hemp is a new industry to Kansas and important to the future of ag production, processing and manufacturing in Kansas. Russell County Economic Development and CVB along with business leaders in Russell County have been involved in the industrial hemp movement in Kansas for four years; initially in advocating for legislative policy and now to develop the industry in ag production, processing and manufacturing. Mechanized Concepts is a company that has those same interests and values in developing the industrial hemp industry in Russell County according to the press release.

Russell County Economic Development and CVB is partnering with Mechanized Concepts to host a hiring event day on Thursday, March 21 from 3 to 7 PM at 553 South Front Street in Russell (office area on west side of the building). This is an opportunity for job seekers to meet Mechanized Concepts and apply for career opportunities.
