Arizona Woman, Man Arrested in Ellsworth County for Drug Possession

Drug Arrest 2An Arizona woman and man were arrested early Monday morning in Ellsworth County for drug possession.

According to dispatch logs, at 1:49 AM Monday, a Russell County Sheriff's Deputy advised Russell Dispatch he was attempting to make a traffic stop on eastbound Interstate 70 at mile marker 205 in Russell County with a 2000 Ford Expedition with Arizona license plates registered to David Bridges.

The final stop was just east of the Wilson exit on I-70.

The driver, Destiny Tucker, had a suspended license out of Phoenix and the passenger, David Bridges, had an ID card only out of Mesa.

At 2:11 AM, Tucker was placed under arrest and transported to the Russell County Jail.

At 2:52 AM, Bridges was placed under arrest and transported to the Russell County Jail by another deputy.

Tucker was charged with driving with a suspended license and possession of a stimulant.

Bridges was charged with possession of a stimulant.
