Russell Police Awarded Digital Camera

RPD Digital Camera AwardOn November 25, the Russell Police Department was notified by the Kansas Department of Transportation that it was awarded a digital camera for its participation in the October 28 to November 1 middle school seat belt enforcement.

In this campaign there were 439 officers, 80 agencies and 967 hours dedicated to the enforcement of seat belt violations.

The Russell Police Department was one of the agencies dedicated to the enforcement.

On November 26, Alan Ackerman of KDOT presented the digital camera to the Russell Police Department. Accepting the digital camera was Sergeant Jordan Harrison of the Russell Police Department and coordinator for the Police Department's participation in the KDOT's seat belt enforcements.
