SHPTV Has New Look and Website

Smoky Hills PBS Logo2Smoky Hills Public TV has a new name, logo and website.

The public TV station based in Bunker Hill announced this week SHPTV is now Smoky Hills PBS. To reflect the name change, they also created a new logo and website.

The new website can be found at smokyhillspbs.org.

Smoky Hills PBS Marketing Director Amanda Smith says the new look and website reflects the fact that Smoky Hills PBS is more than television.

The look of Smoky Hills PBS will be the only change. Everything else remains the same.

“We are so excited about our new look,” said Larry Calvery, General Manager of Smoky Hills PBS. “We are PBS for Central and Western Kansas and we wanted that to be clear with our new look. Smoky Hills PBS can be found throughout our viewing area covering area sports, providing Family Fun Day events, airing local productions from our studio in Bunker Hill, as well as providing quality, educational programming for kids. We are owned and supported by the communities we are dedicated to serving, we are Smoky Hills PBS.”

Smoky Hills PBS serves 71 counties in central and western Kansas and has been named the Kansas Association of Broadcasters Non-Metro Station of the Year.
