Russell Rotary and PRIDE Seeking Donations for Splash Pad

Revitalize Russell 6-25-20As you may have noticed, work has begun on a new project in downtown Russell at the corner of 8th and Kansas Streets.

This project, which is part of Revitalize Russell, includes outdoor restrooms, a visitor center, playground equipment, a splash pad and outdoor seating.

The hope is to have this project completed by Prairiesta, which will be held in Russell in June 2021.

Russell Rotary Club and Russell PRIDE are spearheading the effort to build the new splash pad. Rotary Club member Andrea Krauss said it will be highly water efficient.

Russell Rotary Club and Russell PRIDE are excited to bring an area for children to play to downtown Russell. But in order to make this project a reality, they need your help. The groups are currently raising funds by selling engraved bricks.

Bricks are $250 with a goal of 200 purchased. To buy a brick, contact any Russell Rotary Club or Russell PRIDE member. You can also download and fill out the form below and mail in your donation.
