State Representative Troy Waymaster Joins Clifford Ag Team as Co-Chair

Bill Clifford and Troy WaymasterClifford for Congress has announced State Representative Troy Waymaster as a co-chairman of Dr. Bill Clifford's agriculture advisory team.

Waymaster, a farmer and the chairman of the Kansas House Appropriations Committee, joins Kansas agriculture leaders Cecil O'Brate and Gary Harshberger at the helm of the group.

"Dr. Bill Clifford is the conservative fighter Kansas farmers and ranchers need working for us in Washington," said Waymaster. "Bill understands the challenges our ag producers are facing, he's a proven leader, and he'll get the job done on the House Ag Committee."

"I'm honored to have Troy's support," said Clifford. "As a farmer and a dedicated public servant, his perspective will be invaluable in the days ahead. I'm honored to draw on the experience of Troy and so many other of our district's agriculture leaders."

Conservative Republican Dr. Bill Clifford, an ophthalmologist, Finney County Commissioner and US Air Force veteran, announced his candidacy for Congress in September 2019. A former F-15 fighter pilot, Dr. Clifford has served patients in rural communities across the Big First District for over 25 years. A conservative problem-solver, Dr. Clifford will stand with President Trump to support Kansas farmers and ranchers, restore our economy, build the wall and defend the unborn.

Dr. Clifford and his wife, Jean, a member of the Kansas State Board of Education and an Air Force veteran herself, are the proud parents of six children, five of them adopted. The Cliffords live in Garden City, where they attend St. Dominic Church.
