Natoma Lions Club Members Champion Community Calendar Project

Natoma Lions Club Calendars July 2020In the American spirit of serving others, Natoma Lions Club members champion a community calendar annual project.

For decades they have provided area businesses opportunities for advertisement space at a nominal fee. For Natoma residents, the calendar project offers free listings of birthdays, anniversaries, school calendar and community events. Orders are taken for the $5 calendars with delivery in August, prior to the beginning of the school year.

Calendar proceeds provide financial support for a myriad of projects, including the Lions Peace Poster Contest, Kansas Lions Sight Mobile for free eye and diabetes screening, Kansas Lions statewide band camp, band camps for junior high and high school students, scholastic scholarships, Kansas Highway Patrol Cadet Academy, Boys State, Natoma Public Library, Labor Day Celebration and many other local projects. They support international sight projects through their membership dues and donations.

For more information on the calendar project, contact Terry Tucker, President, at 785-885-8075 or Shawna Dunlap, Secretary, at 785-885-8028.
