State Representative Waymaster Honors RHS FFA Livestock Judging Team

On Thursday, March 7, 2013, Representative Troy L. Waymaster honored the four students from the Russell High School FFA Livestock Judging Team for their achievements at the state, national and, potentially, international level.
The four Russell High School FFA students that were invited to the State Capitol in Topeka were Lane Mai, Payton Stoppel, Jordan Moubry and Clayton Moubry. Also in attendance were Russell High School Principal, Larry Bernard; Athletic Director, Mark Paul and FFA Advisor, Jed Strnad.
Representative Troy L. Waymaster introduced and congratulated the Russell High School FFA Livestock Judging Team to the entire Kansas House of Representatives, praising the four individuals on placing first at state competition, fourth at the national competition in Indianapolis, Indiana and for being invited to participate at the international competition this coming July in Scotland. Representative Waymaster presented certificates to the four members of the team and Advisor Strnad. He also presented a certificate from Senator Elaine Bowers to Principal Bernard. The Russell High School FFA team was received by a standing ovation and applause by all the representatives of the Kansas House of Representatives.
