ROAR Show Taking Entries Sunday Through Tuesday

R.O.A.R. LogoRussell's Original Art Review is gearing up for its 45th Show.

Since 1969, the ROAR Show has given Kansas artists the opportunity to show and sell their works of art in categories of oil, watercolor, other two-dimension, sculpture, ceramics, pastels, photography and computer generated or manipulated original composition.

This year's show dates are October 11 to 13 at the 4-H Building in Russell.

All professional and amateur artists 16 years of age and older living in the state of Kansas are eligible. All work must be original and not previously exhibited in a ROAR Show. Entries will be judged only in their own category.

Entries may be brought to the 4-H building on October 6, 7 and 8 from 1 PM to 7 PM. No entries will be accepted after 7 PM on Tuesday, October 8. There will be no limit on the number of entries.

The show will be open to the public on Friday and Saturday, October 11 and 12 from 9 AM to 9 PM and Sunday, October 13 from 9 AM to 4 PM. Admission is free.

Approximately $3,200 in non-purchase cash prizes will be awarded at the discretion of the judge.
