US Marshals Arrest Georgia Man in Russell

US MarshalUnited States Marshals arrested a Georgia man Friday in Russell who was wanted on multiple criminal charges out of Muscogee County, Georgia.

According to Russell Police Captain Bill Dollison, 23-year-old Terrence J. Holloway was arrested early Friday afternoon in the 1600 Block of North Main Street.

US Marshals conducted the arrest and the Russell Police Department assisted.

Holloway was charged with two counts of aggravated assault on a peace officer and one count on each of the following crimes: fleeing and eluding, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, obstruction and reckless driving - again, all of which originated from Georgia.

Following his arrest, Holloway was transported to the Russell County Jail. Dollison said Georgia authorities will seek extradition.
