Their gift is for the Foundation's Fund for a Better Russell County Area.
The Fund for a Better Russell County Area is a permanent endowment that represents an investment in the future of the Russell County Area. Grants from the fund support a variety of pressing charitable needs, ranging from education and the arts to historic preservation and park development. Donations to the fund currently receive a 50 percent match through the GROW II endowment challenge sponsored by the Kansas Health Foundation.
"We are thrilled to partner with the Kuehl family in improving the Russell County Area, and greatly appreciate their generosity. Their endowment gift will help the Foundation support many local charitable projects now, and in the years ahead," said Angela Muller, Executive Director of the Foundation.
The Russell County Area Community Foundation, an affiliate of the Greater Salina Community Foundation, was established to create a permanent source of philanthropy to address current and future community needs through grant making and partnerships. Since inception, the RCACF and its generous donors have awarded more than $1 million to meaningful causes and issues. The RCACF is the largest provider of grants and scholarships in the Russell County area.
