Shoplifting Report Leads to Arrest of Three on Drug, Stolen Property Charges

Drug Arrest 2Three Great Bend residents were arrested in Russell Thursday evening on multiple drug and stolen property charges following a shoplifting report.

According to the Russell Police Department, at 7:54 PM Thursday, Russell Dispatch received a call from the manager at Dollar General at 489 South Fossil in Russell reporting three people in a maroon pickup had stolen items from the store and left eastbound toward Front Street.

Officers located the vehicle, a 1995 Toyota, and conducted a traffic stop at 5th and Fossil.

It was determined the pickup was stolen.

Officers requested EMS respond to check one person with possible drug complications. An ambulance responded, but did not transport anyone to the hospital.

Andrew Tirado, Chelsea Guyton and Ashley Feil, all of Great Bend, were placed under arrest and transported to the Russell County Jail.

Tirado was charged with possession of methamphetamine, paraphernalia and marijuana, shoplifting, felony possession of stolen property, no valid drivers license and no proof of insurance.

Guyton was charged with possession of meth, paraphernalia and marijuana, shoplifting, felony possession of stolen property, felony interference with law enforcement and evidence concealment.

Feil was charged with possession of meth, paraphernalia and marijuana, shoplifting and felony possession of stolen property.
