Lincoln Joins Midway Extension

K State ExtensionSam Lincoln has joined the staff of K-State Research and Extension as the Crops and Horticulture Agent and Director of the Midway Extension District effective December 31, 2017. The Midway District has offices in Russell and Ellsworth.

He earned a bachelor's degree in Plant Sciences from the University of Florida.

Lincoln has most recently been the owner of Lincoln Ag Services.

As the crop production and horticulture agent he will provide educational programming in these areas. He will also serve as district director providing administrative leadership for the district's educational programming, fiscal operations, personnel and marketing.

Local extension faculty are jointly employed in a partnership between K-State Research and Extension, headquartered on the Kansas State University campus in Manhattan, and the local Extension Board.

The role of K-State Research and Extension is to encourage the adoption of research-based information to improve the quality of life for Kansans.
