The addition is needed due to overcrowding. Currently, they have to store one of their fire trucks outside.

Also Monday, County Health Nurse Paula Bitter talked with the Commissioners about flu and strep throat illnesses in the county. No emergency declarations have been made yet, but it is becoming a problem locally.

She stressed if you are sick, stay home, and if your children are sick, do not send them to school.
