Russell Man Arrested in Phillips County Narcotics Investigation

Drug Arrest 2A Russell man has been arrested in an ongoing narcotics investigation in Phillips County.

According to a press release from the Phillips County Sheriff's Office, 28-year-old Anthony J. Brock of Russell was in custody on unrelated charges in Russell County when he was transferred to the Phillips County Jail and served with an arrest warrant Friday evening on charges of unlawful distribution of methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school and unlawful use of communication facilities in facilitation of a felony. His bond has been set at $35,000 cash or professional surety.

The Phillips County Sheriff's Office has been conducting an investigation for the past several months with no outside assistance or resources. The investigation is ongoing and additional arrests will occur.

"The deputies assigned to this investigation have greatly disrupted the distribution channels of meth in Phillips County and they aren't done yet," said Sheriff Charles Radabaugh.
