RHS Girls Basketball Coach Frank Schulte Resigns

Frank and Jaclyn Schulte 3-25-18After 11 years leading the Lady Broncos and 157 wins to his credit, Russell High School Head Girls Basketball Coach Frank Schulte has announced his resignation.

The resignation was made official at Monday's USD 407 Board of Education meeting.

The Lady Broncos saw a lot of success under Schulte's leadership, including a state tournament appearance in 2013 where they finished fourth and five sub-state championship game appearances.

Also, a handful of Schulte's players went on to play at the next level in college.

Schulte explains why he decided to step away now.

Schulte talks about his favorite moments over the years.

He thanks the community for its support.

Schulte also had the opportunity to coach all four of his daughters.

Schulte's coaching record at RHS was 157-89. He coached one season at Ruppenthal Middle School before he took the high school job and was 11-1 that year.
