TMP Sweeps Russell Invitational

RHS Track and FieldTMP swept the boys and girls team titles at the annual Russell Invitational on Thursday, April 4 at Shaffer Field.

The TMP boys posted 137.5 points.  Hutch-Trinity was second with 82.5 points.  Hoisington took third with 65.  Russell was fourth with 51.75 points.

The TMP-Marian girls had 138 points.  Hoisington was second with 88.  Hutch-Trinity placed third with 77.  Russell was fourth with 45.

Gage Nichols finished second in the discuss and sixth in the shot put to the RHS boys.  Mathew Pfannenstiel was fourth in 100 and 200 M dashes and long jump.  David Crawford placed second in the long jump and third in the 300 M hurdles.  Michael Pfannenstiel was second in the 110 M hurdles and fifth in the 300 M hurdles.  Noah Gfeller took third in the 400 M dash and sixth in the 200 M dash.  Reshean Holloway tied for third in the high jump.  Christopher Hilger was fourth in the pole vault.  Jesse Boomhower placed fourth in the shot put.  Kiefer Craig was fifth in the triple jump.  Kyle Rourke took sixth in the pole vault.  Malachi Pfannenstiel finished sixth in the long jump.  The RHS 4x400 relay team placed second and the 4x100 relay team third.

The RHS girls had two individual gold medal winners.  Sammy Wedel won the 400 M dash and Ashtyn Brown took the shot put.  Wedel also placed third in the pole vault and was sixth in the 200 M dash.  Brown also placed fourth the discus.  Angeleah Stierlen was second in the pole vault.  Paxton Pospichal finished third in the shot put.  Mariah LaMar took third in the 400 M dash.  Jordyn Hare tied for fourth in the shot put.  Jannah Hoch was fourth in the 3200 M run.  Julia Oste placed fifth and Taylor Hecker sixth in the 100 M hurdles.  Alyssa Basgall was sixth in both the 100 M dash and long jump.  Tristen Hayes finished sixth in the javelin.  Russell's 4x100 relay team took second.

Russell travels to Ellsworth on Tuesday.
