"Danica is an exceptional student and she will be a great addition to the Bethany College community and our education program. Danica had a phenomenal high school career and we anticipate that her success will continue through her time as a Swede. Any time that you can sign a player who scored 1,200+ points in high school, it's obviously a great addition to your roster. However, I am more excited about the fact that Danica loves to compete and loves to be in the gym playing basketball. We are going to have some great competition in Hahn gym when we start our practices later this fall."

Casey is the daughter of Jay and Valerie Casey. She has a 3.91 grade point average and plans to major in elementary education.
