Lady Broncos Swept by Larned

RHS SoftballThe Russell High School softball team ran into a hot hitting Larned team and was swept by the Lady Indians on Friday, May 2 at the Memorial Park Complex in Russell.

Larned took the opener 14-2 and rolled to a 13-1 victory in game two.

The Lady Indians out-hit Russell 29-9 in the doubleheader and hit four homeruns.

Kyleigh Kasper had three of the Lady Bronco's hits, including a solo homerun in game one.

Kayle Radke (4-10) went the distance in each game and took the losses.

Russell falls to 4-10 and will play their final home games of the season on Tuesday against Beloit (12-4) starting at 4pm.
