Ribbon Cutting Scheduled for Russell Specialty Books and Gifts
The Russell Area Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting on Friday, September 17 at 10 AM to mark the official opening of Russell Specialty Books and Gifts in their new location at 626 North Main Street in Russell.
Russell Specialty Books and Gifts has been working to move their inventory to their new and much larger location in the past weeks and invites the community to come see the wide selection of books, games, toys and gifts. Owner Linda Crowder has expanded her inventory to include a nice selection of Melissa and Doug toys and Little Golden Books for the youngest shoppers, books for middle readers and chapter books for young readers. She has also added a section of arts and crafts books and even has supplies to get your creative juices flowing. The store also features gift items and greeting cards for every occasion.
The festivities to celebrate this new location will continue throughout the month of September with specials all month long as well as book signings from local favorite Rosie Bosse and the introduction of Cat Webling. Bosse and Webling will be in the store on Saturday, September 25 for conversation and autographs. The new store space features an event room which will also be utilized on Saturday, September 25 for live karaoke.
Russell Specialty Books and Gifts is an incredible asset to the community and the Russell Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to see this business growing and thriving. They encourage the community to join in celebrating this business expansion.
Crowder is also excited about the upcoming Bricks, Broncs and BBQ event sponsored by Russell Main Street, Inc. and she is making plans for more guests and events the first weekend of October. Look for more information on those happenings in the future.
