Schedule your Well Child Check from Monday, March 1 through Friday, March 5 and enjoy fun Dr. Seuss goodies.

As part of the Kansas Chapter of American Academy of Pediatrics, the Russell Regional Hospital Physicians Clinic is encouraging Well Child Checks to assist child patients in staying on a healthy track while also gaining from the valuable skills that reading and being read to develops in children.

Literacy is an important part of helping children to grow up healthy in both mind and body.

Children six months to five years have the opportunity to come in for their Well Child Check and receive coloring pages, stickers, bookmarks and crayons.

The first 10 children that have an appointment and come in for their wellness check will receive a free Dr. Seuss book.

Physicians Clinic Manager Jess Deines said, “We are excited to partner with the Kansas Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics to encourage health and wellness amongst our children as their brains are growing, we want to help them on their path to success.”
