Russell County Treasurer - Motor Vehicle/Tax Clerk

The Russell County Treasurer’s Office in Russell is seeking a full-time motor vehicle/ tax clerk.

Some skills required for this position are excellent customer service and basic computer knowledge.

The clerk is responsible for processing applications for vehicle titles, vehicle renewals, collecting property tax, answering the phone and customer questions, balancing cash drawer at the end of the day, as well as many other duties.

Must have a high school diploma or GED and be able to pass a drug screening and background check.
