Carnival Returning to Russell County Free Fair

After several years without a carnival, the Russell County Fair Board has announced a carnival is returning to the fair this summer.

Board members made the announcement on their social media page earlier this week.

Amusement Associates will provide the carnival and bring an assortment of rides for all ages along with inflatables and games. The company is located in Iowa and according to their website, has been providing quality, family entertainment for fairs, festivals, community events, corporate picnics for more than 40 years. They travel throughout Iowa, Kansas and Missouri.

The fair board said the carnival was possible through a grant from Russell County Economic Development and CVB.

The Russell County Free Fair will be held July 22-26 at the fairgrounds in Russell.
