COVID-19 Case Total Update for July 21
As of Noon, Wednesday, July 21, Russell County has had 880 total positive cases of COVID-19 since tracking began, an increase of five cases since Monday, according to the Russell County Health Department.
There have been 847 recovered cases, 62 hospitalizations with one currently hospitalized and 23 deaths. There are currently four in quarantine.
The cumulative positivity rate for last week was 13.5 percent. The cumulative positivity rate for this week is 16 percent. The cumulative positivity rate for July is 10.4 percent.
Call the Health Department at 785-483-6433 to schedule an appointment to get vaccinated. Pfizer is now approved for children 12 and older. The Health Department can provide Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines.
