Filing Deadline for Candidates in Russell County is June 2

Even though the August primary election is three months away and the November General Election is six months away, there is no time like the present to file if you are interested in running for a local office or seat.

The filing deadline in Russell County is June 2 at noon and so far only five candidates have filed.

Those five are Neil Unrein for Gorham Mayor, Ben Gruver and LaDana Seirer for Luray City Council, Dustin Madden for Russell City Council Ward 4 Position and Joyce Ellis for USD 407 Board of Education.
