Cold and flu season is right around the corner. Take good care of yourself by getting plenty of rest, stay active with exercise, drink plenty of fluids and be sure to wash your hands.

If not feeling well, stay home and limit your exposure to others who might be ill, but also help by not exposing others to your symptoms.

Flu shots are another added value that can assist you in staying healthy this flu season. Flu shots are now available at the Russell Regional Hospital Physicians Clinic. Please schedule your appointment by calling 785-483-3333.

Russell Regional Hospital continues to offer the Moderna and now the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine if you would like to start the vaccination process. Vaccination appointments can be made by calling the Physicians Clinic. Please indicate which vaccine you prefer to use when making your appointment.

As Breast Cancer Awareness Month continues in October, Russell Regional Hospital Radiology reminds clients to schedule their yearly mammogram. The appointments take approximately 15 minutes. Each third Monday of the month is Mammo Night where clients can get their mammogram from 4 to 7 PM and not have to take time out of their work day. Mammograms are offered throughout the week as well for folks that do not require an evening appointment.

Need to get a blood screening? The last Friday of each month is the RRH Blood Screening service. Friday, October 29 will be the Blood Screening day for October.

If you would like to schedule a mammogram or a blood screening appointment, please call 785-483-3131 to claim your time.
