Help the City of Russell Finish Up Its Lead Service Line Inventory

Lead Service Line Inventory
Lead Service Line Inventory

Help the City of Russell finish up its lead service line inventory. If the City hasn't received a response from your address, please expect a visit from City crews as they work to complete this required inventory.

Save them a trip and fill out the survey online today.

Due to recent changes in EPA requirements, the City needs some help collecting waterline information from customers. Please take a few minutes to learn more about these requirements and fill out a brief survey.

Need help in identifying your lines? Give the City a call and they will be happy to help.

City of Russell utility customers received information about a new US Environmental Protection Agency regulation that requires all public water supply systems to develop a lead service line inventory of both water systems owned and your privately owned service lines. The City of Russell must submit this inventory to the Kansas Department of Health and Environment by October 16.

The City is asking customers for help in completing this quick survey so they may help determine if you or your family have a lead exposure risk. The survey includes questions such as material of plumbing and service lines, date of installation or date your home was built.

You may access the survey HERE or by scanning the QR code provided. If you are unsure of how to identify materials or need help completing the survey, please call the City Building at 785-483-6311.
