How to Help Those in Natoma

As the city of Natoma starts to clean up from Sunday's flood, many in the area are asking how they can help.

Local officials released the following information Monday morning.

For supply assistance and donations, including volunteering your time, please contact Natoma High School at 785-885-4849 or 785-885-4843. Showers are also available if needed. The high school is located at 710 5th Street in Natoma.

The United Methodist Church at 804 4th Street is the place to go or contact for prepared food and donations of prepared food for current residents and volunteers. Call Janet at 785-638-2415.

Officials remind you to take pictures for your records and post them to the Natoma Group on Facebook before any cleanup is done.

Cash donations can be made through Southwind Bank under Natoma Disaster Fund. Call 785-885-4234 or CLICK HERE to donate electronically through PayPal. Donations are welcome at the Natoma and Russell locations or they may also be mailed to Southwind Bank, PO Box 40, Natoma, KS 67651. Checks should be made payable to Natoma Disaster Fund.
