It's Graduation Weekend in Russell Area

It's not only Mother's Day weekend, it's also graduation weekend for Russell and area high schools.

Russell will host its commencement ceremony on Saturday morning at 10 AM. Around 40 seniors will receive their diploma inside Amos Morris Gym. Natoma's graduation ceremony also is at 10 AM on Saturday morning. Nine seniors will walk across the stage. 24 seniors will graduate on Saturday afternoon at 2 PM at Sylvan-Lucas High School. Central Plains and Victoria will both hold graduation on Sunday afternoon. In Victoria, 17 seniors will walk across the stage at 1 PM. And in Claflin, 27 Central Plains seniors will receive their diploma at 2 PM.

Barton Community College will hold their spring graduation on Friday, May 9 at 7 PM at the Barton Gymnasium and Fort Hays State University will hold their commencement ceremonies on Friday and Saturday, May 16-17 at Gross Memorial Coliseum.
