Midway Coop Acquires Lucas Branch From United Ag Service

Midway Coop, based in Osborne, has announced the acquisition of the coop facility in Lucas.

According to a press release, the purchase was completed on May 1 through a purchase agreement with United Ag Services based in Gorham. This location will provide grain, agronomy, feed, seed and supply services to area producers and customers.

Located just nine miles from their Luray elevator, Midway Coop says the Lucas facility strengthens their ability to serve producers across north central Kansas while continuing their long-standing commitment to supporting rural communities and agriculture.

John Keller and Austin Beaty will continue serving local customers, with Sam Princ serving as Branch Manager for the Lucas location.

Midway Coop has been in existence for more than 110 years.
