Natoma's American Legion Hall Restoration Suffers Setback with Flood
Natoma's American Legion Hall Restoration Phase Three was almost complete after three years of volunteer work giving new life to the historic World War II Army Air Corps barrack for B-29 pilots.
Unfortunately, the Legion Hall and its contents, including flags, documents and supplies, suffered significant damage in Sunday's flood.
The American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary for God and Country will continue preparing flags for seven cemeteries and for the 154th Memorial Day services.
For a helping hand, contact Commander William Workman or Auxiliary President Laah Tucker at 785-885-8125.
