Russell County Administrator Explains Property Valuations, Gives Update on Hell Creek Bridge Project

Russell County residents have been receiving property valuations in the mail in recent weeks.

Some have gone up. Some have gone done. Some have stayed the same.

Russell County Administrator Stephan Grisham stopped by the KRSL Morning Show to explain how property valuations are determined.

Grisham says state requirements play a big part into each county's budget.

As planning for the 2027 Russell County budget begins, Grisham says everything will be considered.

Russell County Commissioners will meet on April 16-17 from 9 to 11 AM each day at the Russell County Courthouse for budget planning sessions. In these sessions, commissioners along with Grisham will look over each budget request and consider any changes. The public is welcome to attend these meetings.

Grisham also gave a brief update on the project to repair Hell Creek Bridge at Wilson Lake.
