Also Monday, the Commissioners discussed damage to the Bunker Hill and Paradise blacktop roads due to increased traffic during the US Highway 281 project.
An uptick in COVID-19 cases was also discussed with Russell County Health Department Administrator Paula Bitter.
The Commissioners also passed a resolution to re-enter the Rural Opportunity Zone program. The program helps pay student loans for out-of-county residents who decide to move to Russell County.
