Russell County Surpasses 400 Total Cases of COVID-19

Just one week ago, Russell County topped 300 total cases of COVID-19 since the pandemic began earlier this year. In her 5 PM report on Wednesday, Russell County Health Department Administrator Paula Bitter said the county now has more than 400 total cases.

Currently, Russell County has 428 positive cases, an increase of 44 since Monday, November 16.

107 are active and in isolation. There have been 280 recovered cases, 34 hospitalizations (four currently) and 10 deaths (an increase of one). 63 people are currently quarantined. Approximately 29 percent of Russell County residents have been tested and the positivity rate in the county the past week is 28.8 percent. 127 people are currently quarantined.
