It's homecoming week at Russell Junior-Senior High School and the senior royalty candidates have been announced.

The queen candidates are Hannah Krug, Madison Sohm and Sara Grieve. The king candidates are Mason Rohr, Camden Backhus and Brayden Suchy.

The freshman attendants are Norah Mooney and Justice Ramsey-Self. The sophomore attendants are Gracelyn Dinkel and Kolten Jones. The junior attendants are Daryss Barrera and Pierce Schoenberger. And the senior attendants are Kelvie Reeves and Dax Ervin.

The homecoming bonfire was Monday evening. On Tuesday, there will be a junior high movie night in Amos Morris Gymnasium starting at 7 PM. On Wednesday, a lucky caller competition will take place during the school day. On Thursday, there will be a high school co-ed volleyball tournament in Amos Morris Gymnasium at 7 PM.

The dress up days are jersey day on Tuesday, Hawaiian day on Wednesday, western day on Thursday and dressed to impress on Friday.

On Friday, there will be a pep rally at 1:30 PM in Amos Morris Gymnasium, the parade at 2:30 on Main Street with the theme Disney Classics, a community pep rally immediately following the parade outside the Russell County Courthouse, the king and queen crowning ceremony at 6:30 PM at Shaffer Field and the football game at 7 against Phillipsburg.
