Russell Woman Taken to Russell Regional Hospital Following Injury Accident in Russell

A Russell woman was taken to Russell Regional Hospital Thursday evening following an injury accident in Russell.

According to Russell Chief of Police Jordan Harrison, at 5:14 PM Thursday, a 2000 Honda Civic driven by 37-year-old Christine Milam of Russell was westbound on East Wisconsin Street in the 500 block when she collided with a parked and unoccupied 2014 Toyota Rav4 owned by Vickie Fisher.

Milam was transported by Russell County EMS to the hospital with possible minor injuries.

She was buckled up at the time of the crash.

The Civic was towed from the scene.
