Russell's Feeding the Future Program Returning This Summer

Feeding the Future

Russell's Feeding the Future program is returning for its second year.

Feeding the Future is entirely volunteer based, operated outside of USD 407 and provides the district's children with meals when USD 407's summer meal program does not operate and school is out.

This year, meals will be provided for children ages 1-18 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from May 18 through 29 and July 27 through August 12. Children can pick up meals from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the USD 407 Administration Building (formerly Ruppenthal Middle School) at the west door along Kansas Street. Meals will be available for all seven days each week the program is operating.

Feeding the Future is completely dependent upon donations and grants. All donations are tax deductible. Checks may be made payable to Post Rock Family Services and dropped off at Southwind Bank or Gudenkauf and Malone in Russell.
