Senator Moran Announces 2024 Service Academy Selection Board
US Senator Jerry Moran of Kansas has announced the members of his 2024 Service Academy Selection Board.
The board will review applications and interview candidates who are applying for admission to the US Service Academies.
Applicants will be interviewed by the selection board on Saturday, November 16 at Fort Hays State University in the Robbins Center. The US Service Academies include the US Military Academy, US Naval Academy, US Air Force Academy and US Merchant Marine Academy.
"Selecting Kansas students for our service academies is one of my greatest privileges as a US Senator, and I am grateful to the dedicated individuals serving on the Service Academy Board who assist in this process," said Senator Moran. "The young men and women applying from Kansas show not only academic excellence but also a commitment to serving our nation. I appreciate the board's investment of time in these students and in our country's future and look forward to receiving their recommendations."
Senator Moran's 2024 Service Academy Selection Board includes Sheila Hachmeister of Natoma, Chief Financial Officer at Rooks County Health Center and a parent of a US Naval Academy graduate.
