Temporary Traffic Regulation Change Announced

Russell Chief of Police Jordan Harrison has announced a temporary traffic regulation change in Russell.

In accordance with the Uniform Standard Traffic Ordinance as adopted by the City of Russell, Chief Harrison finds it advisable to change the flow of traffic to one way, eastbound only, in the alley between the 800 block of North Elm Street and the 800 block of North Kansas Street, effective June 9.

The temporary regulation is adopted to determine the advisability of making the flow of traffic one way, eastbound only, permanently.

The information gained from this temporary traffic regulation will be used to make a recommendation concerning the same to the Russell City Council.

This temporary regulation shall remain in force for no more than 90 days.
