USD 407 Interviewing Three Candidates for BES Principal

Russell County USD 407 announced Tuesday morning three candidates are being interviewed for principal at Bickerdyke Elementary School for the 2026-27 school year.

Candidates are:

Nicholas Flowers: Flowers currently serves as the K-8 Assistant Principal and Middle School Activities Director in Hoisington.

David Hinton: Hinton is currently a physical education teacher and coach in El Dorado. He also brings nearly 25 years of service in the U.S. Air Force National Guard.

Dr. Lezlee Ivy: Ivy most recently served as a 5th grade and virtual teacher. Prior to that, she was an assistant principal from 2008–2010 and a principal from 2010–2018 in the Park Hill School District in Missouri.

All three candidates are being interviewed on Tuesday, April 7.
