2022-23 District Football Assignments Released by KSHSAA
The Kansas State High School Activities Association has announced its district football assignments for the 2022 and 2023 seasons.
Russell, who is moving to Class 2A in football, will be in District 8 along with Beloit, TMP-Marian, Phillipsburg and Norton.
Sylvan-Lucas, Victoria and Wilson all will be in the same 8-Man Division II District 5 along with Central Plains and Otis-Bison.
Natoma will be in the newly sanctioned 6-Man class and be in District 2 along with Burrton, Chase, Cunningham, Rozel-Pawnee Heights, Southern Cloud and Tescott.
There will be eight total districts in 2A and 8-Man Division II and four districts in 6-Man. In 2A and 8-Man Division II, there will be five teams per district. In 6-Man, Districts 1 and 2 each have seven teams, while Districts 3 and 4 each have six teams.
