Area Players Selected for KVA All-Star Teams

Three area High School Volleyball players have been selected to play in the 2026 Kansas Volleyball Association All-Star Match which will be held later this spring.

Kyndal Moore from Class 2A State Champion Ellinwood will play on the Blue team while her Ellinwood teammate Regan Widener will be joined by Elyse Haxtun of Ellsworth on the Red team.  The match will be played on Saturday, June 6 at 5 p.m. at Whiting Fieldhouse on the campus of Washburn University in Topeka.  

According to a press release from the KVA, selected players were first nominated by High School coaches who must be KVA members and then recommended by committee to fill their squads.

While Ellinwood completed a historic 47-0 season to capture its first State title in Volleyball last fall, Ellsworth qualified for the Class 3A State Tournament.
