Bronco Golfers Place Eighth at TMP Invite

The Russell-Victoria Boys Golf team finished eighth out of 14 teams at the TMP-Marian Invite held Monday at the Smoky Hills Country Club in Hays.

The Broncos tallied a team score of 390 for their eighth place finish while Hoxie won the team title with a score of 343, defeating second place Oakley by six strokes.

Once again, Jake Mooney led all Russell-Victoria golfers by finishing seventh with a score of 85 which was 14 over par.  Easton Fink of Oakley won the team title with a one over par 72, outpacing Noah Dowell of Hoxie who finished five strokes back.

Solomon Moreland, 44th with a score of 102
Trey Carlson, tied for 46th with a score of 103
Aiden Dinkel, tied for 63rd with a score of 106
Braxton Parson, 88th with a score of 123

Russell-Victoria is next in action for its final regular season tournament on Thursday, May 8 at the Ellsworth Invitational.  Tee time is set for 3 p.m.
