Broncos Solid in Larned, Cooper Competes in Phillipsburg
The Russell High School wrestling team competed in the Larned Indian Invitational on Friday, January 22.
Russell, Buhler, Ellis, Ellsworth, Hugoton, Hutchinson, Larned, McPherson, Oakley, Pratt, St. Francis and Ulysses were all part of the meet, which was organized in recent weeks. Originally, all the schools were planning to wrestling in the Bob Kuhn Classic in Hays. But due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Hays meet was downsized and the 12 schools created a new meet in Larned.

RHS freshman Medoria Cooper wrestled in the Phillipsburg Girls Invitational on Friday and went 0-2 at 132 pounds.
