Buhrle, Cross Named to the Mid-Continent League All-League Basketball Second Team

Russell High School seniors Jackson Cross and Jordayn Buhrle have been named to the Mid-Continent League All-League Basketball Second Team.

Buhrle led the 14-9 Broncos in 2022-2023 with 12.4 points per game, five double-doubles and 49 blocks. He scored a career-high 24 points at Hill City on February 17.

Cross averaged 12.1 points per game and made 32 three-point buckets. He scored a season-high 22 points at home versus Oakley on February 3. His career-high was 32 points in January of his junior season in the MCL Tournament. Cross was also an All-League Second Team selection last year.
