Five MCL Teams in KBCA Rankings

Five teams out of the Mid-Continent League are in this week's Kansas Basketball Coaches Association statewide rankings.

On the boys side, Thomas More Prep is seventh in Class 3A and Trego is 10th in 2A. For the girls, Phillipsburg is fifth in 3A and Smith Center is fourth and Trego seventh in 2A.

Also in the area, the Central Plains girls remain #1 in 1A Division II, while the Osborne girls are ninth and the Osborne boys tenth in 1A Division I.

The Victoria girls drop out of the 1A Division I poll after starting the season ranked ninth.
