Five MCL Teams in Latest KBCA Rankings

The Kansas Basketball Coaches Association has released their final regular-season rankings ahead of the start of sub-state tournaments.

Five teams out of the Mid-Continent League are state ranked this week. The Phillipsburg girls remain second in Class 3A, while Smith Center is fourth and Hoxie seventh in 2A. On the boys side in 2A, Thomas More Prep remains second and Hill City enters the poll at #9.

Also on the boys side in 2A, Ellinwood is fifth. And in 1A Division 1, Osborne remains eighth.

For the girls in 1A Division 1, Central Plains moves up to #2 and Osborne is fifth.
