Four Lady Broncos Compete at Russell Invite

The Russell Invite Golf Tournament was held on Monday, September 19 at the Russell Municipal Golf Course with four Lady Broncos competing.

Haley Gier shot a 66 for the nine-hole tournament to lead all Russell golfers.  Miya Kasparie concluded her round with a 68, Bella Somers shot a 69 and Hannah Krug turned in a score of 73.   Ava Henry of Hoisington won the individual title by shooting a 45, edging out Lady Cardinal teammate Lexus Petersilly by one stroke.

Hoisington claimed the team title with a score of 188, easily outpacing Larned which placed second with a score of 235 and Hays High finished two strokes back at 237.

The Lady Broncos will next compete in a tournament at Hoisington on Monday, September 26.  Tee time is set for 3 p.m.
